Rabbit hutch Grey Bunny hutch Open enclosure Elevated shelter
For the keeping of bunnies, rabbits, and guinea pigs respect the needs of those animals, there is much room required. Not only do the animals require daily movement, but also do they need a safe refugium where they are protected from enemies and weather. This rabbit hutch made from spruce wood has two levels and can complete a large free enclosure for keeping of small animals. The upper level is a barn elevated so that the free enclosure ranges over the entire floor space. The animals access the barn via a non-skid ramp.
The open enclosure has a large front door that allows easy cleaning of the enclosure, but also access to a larger enclosure. The barn itself has a door that allows easy cleaning and handling. The floor of the barn is a dirt bin that can easily be removed and comfortably cleaned. The bitumen-coated roof allows protection from moisture and coldness. The walls and ceiling of the open enclosure are formed by a wide-meshed wire that the light passes through. The hare barn can be easily mounted with the help of the user’s manual and a screwdriver.
Note: Pygmy rabbits, for instance, are highly social animals and should be kept in groups of at least three. This group needs at least 6 square metres of floor space plus a separate sleeping house for each animal. We therefore ask you: We kindly ask you to always inform yourself about the species-appropriate requirements before acquiring the respective animal.
