Everbuild’s Joint Backer Rod is an easy way to reduce sealant usage by minimising the depth of joints in construction and glazing usage by creating a backstop to help with better sealant tooling. The non-absorbent closed cell polyethylene foam makes for a strong and flexible product, so it won’t blister or bubble over time. The Backer Rod can also help with insulation by blocking drafts and stopping external air from entering between the window frames.
